This pool consists of the Upper Dudley Pool and the Dudley Channel.
Upper Dudley is a very beautiful pool that has been one of the top producers in both the summer and fall. The run flows off an angular bar in the river that forces the fish up the middle of the pool over various holding rocks and pockets.
The tail of the pool is very deep and receives a flow of cold water from the Dudley Bogan. During the fall this has become an excellent holding pool. This section of the pool easily fishes two rods and four rods could be accommodated for those groups wishing to fish together.
Hovey’s Front is a fast narrow run flowing into a deep slow bend in the river. The pool fishes well in both the summer and the fall. It normally fishes two rods in the summer and up to four rods in the fall.
Privacy is enjoyed here through ownership of both shorelines. Total water frontage at this pool is app. 2,200 feet.
The Walter Murphy Front, which consists of app. 2,000 feet of frontage, is worked best during the spring salmon angling season when it is a good producer.
Walter Murphy Front is also fishable by one to two rods in the summer and fall. Wilson ‘s has ownership of the entire pool which is on one side of the river.
Duff Pool is one of the best producing spring fishing pools in the system. This pool, which fishes two rods, also produces best in late fall when salmon are holding in its lower sections. Total water frontage at this pool is approximately 1,800 feet. Wilson’s has ownership of one side.
