The fishing was great till mid week , then the weather turned hot and the fish turned off . The water height is still good but of course the heat is doing a job on taking fish . One angler managed to hook two grilse this morning on a bomber . The long range weather forecast is looking good though with rain and cool temps on the way for most of next week . Many of the fish are fresh from the ocean in the last ten days so we can expect good fishing again as soon as the water conditions improve . This is the first summer heat for us since way back in early June , so we can’t complain about it just yet .
